Senior Business Systems Analyst

Estrada Consulting Inc is looking to hire Senior Business Systems Analyst with the following skills:

Minimum Mandatory Qualifications

A minimum of five (5) years of experience applying analytical processes on IT projects. At least three (3) years of that experience must have been in business systems analysis and design. OR Nine (9) years, if substituting Bachelor's degree for additional qualifying experience.

Possess (a) a bachelor’s degree. OR Additional qualifying experience (of MQ #1 above) may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Highly Preferred

Key Staff has one or more industry-recognized certifications such as those offered by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), PMI, or equivalent organizations OR One (1) or more certifications

Key Staff has one or more industry-recognized Agile certifications, such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM) or equivalent. OR One (1) or more certifications.

Key Staff has a minimum of six (6) years of broad and extensive experience as a Business Analyst and Scrum Master, with increasing responsibilities in those roles, applying business analysis principles, methods, techniques, and tools (such as and not limited to JIRA) and with expertise in the Agile or Hybrid (Waterfall and Agile) methodologies. At least three years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity. OR Six (6) or more years.

Has a minimum of six (6) years of full-time equivalent (FTE) experience conducting business analysis and documenting functional and non-functional requirements and meeting all the requirements of the California Department of Technology Project Approval Lifecycle, for State government IT projects of at least medium size, scope, and complexity – i.e. projects with budgets of $5 Million to $10 Million, impacting 400 – 600 user program office users and durations of 1-3 years. OR

Three (6) or more years DQ 5 OR Key Staff has a minimum of three (3) years of experience in using centralized requirements tools, such as Jira, or equivalent.
