Position Summary
The Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives and Business Transformation will play a key leadership role in driving high-impact projects that enhance operational performance, streamline processes, and support long-term business objectives. This role requires a hands-on leader who can bridge the gap between strategy and execution, ensuring transformation initiatives deliver measurable value.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Execution
Design and execute strategic programs that fuel business growth and operational effectiveness.
Lead transformation efforts from initial concept through full implementation, ensuring seamless adoption across teams.
Serve as a key liaison between leadership and operational teams, ensuring clear communication and aligned execution of company goals.
Operational Optimization & Transformation
Evaluate and improve current business processes to increase efficiency and performance.
Collaborate across departments—including operations, finance, IT, and HR—to implement innovative, scalable practices.
Use data and insights to guide decision-making and drive ongoing improvements.
Project & Change Management
Manage a portfolio of high-impact projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and in line with business objectives.
Create frameworks, tools, and systems that support long-term transformation success.
Lead change management efforts to cultivate a culture of agility, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Partner with stakeholders across all levels to build alignment and secure buy-in for strategic initiatives.
Clearly communicate goals, progress, and impacts of transformation efforts to leadership and team members.
Facilitate training, workshops, and regular updates to keep teams engaged and informed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related discipline; MBA strongly preferred.
8+ years of experience in business transformation, strategy execution, or operational leadership in a high-growth environment.
Proven track record of leading successful transformation initiatives with tangible business results.
Deep knowledge of process improvement and project management methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in private equity-backed or rapidly scaling companies is a strong advantage.
