We are looking for a talented Trade Compliance Analyst - Senior to join our team specializing in Logistics for our CUMMINS in San Luis Potosí, SLP.
Job Summary
Global Trade Management roles lie either within the Trade Operations & Compliance or Export Controls area. Senior Analysts will be responsible for researching, executing and/or leading process improvements to comply with either Customs or Export Controls regulations.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Responsible for monthly customs closings
Management of the customs operations team, including their training and preparation for activities
Management of internal team time and assignment of pending projects
Management and renewal of certifications for the different business units
Administration and insurance of fixed assets
Management and administration of various operations-related software (Annex 24, policies, etc.)
Support and guidance on non-routine trade compliance matters
Management of relationships with government authorities to ensure ongoing compliance
Customs Assessment reviews and coordination with the legal department for due diligence
Management of export classifications in the Global Trade Management System
Implementation of controlled goods programs and compliance controls across all plants
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Foreign Trade, International Business, Industrial Engineering, or similar
Minimum 5 years of experience in operations and customs compliance
Management, control, and administration of Annex 24
Experience coordinating a commercial operations team.
Experience in Fixed Asset Control
Experience in supervising import and export activities and compliance reports for business units (
Mastery of DATASTAGE
Experience managing licenses, registrations, and applicable trade benefits
Experience with government authority relations
Knowledge of tariff fractions and product classification.
Execution of audits and support for continuous improvement plans.
Intermediate- Advanced English proficiency.
