Your Role:
Lead and grow a talented team of 4-5 engineers
Spend ~50% of your time on hands-on development (Node.js, databases, architecture)
Establish best practices in SDLC, code quality, and production reliability
Collaborate closely with US-based product and engineering teams
Thrive in ambiguity—bring structure while adapting to startup pace
Mentor engineers, unblock challenges, and drive technical decisions
Technical Must-Haves:
7-8 years in software development, 4-5 years in product companies (customer-facing SaaS)
Strong backend focus: 2-3 years of Node.js + 5 years with relational databases
1-2 years as a tech lead (owning architecture, design, and code quality)
Full-stack exposure but prefers backend complexity
Proven experience supporting production SaaS applications
Leadership Must-Haves:
2-3 years managing teams (4-7 engineers)
Experience with performance cycles, hiring, and team development
Ability to align engineering roadmaps with product goals
Scrum/Agile leadership (eventually)
Nice-to-Have:
Startup + enterprise experience (US/EU hybrid teams a plus)
GCP infrastructure knowledge
Background in sales/marketing tech or ML-powered products
