The Program Manager – Operations will oversee and coordinate a portfolio of strategic projects within our operations division. This role is responsible for ensuring the successful alignment, execution, and integration of key initiatives focused on warehouse logistics optimization, vendor consolidation, safety enhancements, and facility improvements.

The Program Manager will orchestrate cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless collaboration across Operations, IT, Procurement, Facilities, and HR. They will act as a change agent, driving adoption of new processes and ensuring long-term operational success. The ideal candidate has a program-level mindset, balancing strategic oversight with tactical coordination.

Essential Job Duties

Program Oversight & Execution Coordination:

Manages a portfolio of interconnected initiatives, ensuring they align with broader operational and business goals.

Develops and maintains program roadmaps, interdependencies, and risk mitigation strategies, ensuring seamless execution across projects.

Ensures projects are prioritized, resourced, and sequenced effectively, avoiding operational bottlenecks.

Tracks and reports on program-level progress, risks, and key milestones, ensuring leadership has full visibility.

Identifies and escalates program-wide challenges, proactively driving solutions and ensuring stakeholder alignment.

Develops and manages structured integration workstreams, aligning cross-functional teams across operations, IT, finance, HR, supply chain, and customer service.

Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement

Implements structured change management frameworks to drive adoption, minimize resistance, and support teams through operational transitions.

Serves as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing insights on program effectiveness, adoption challenges, and areas for improvement.

Translates high-level strategic goals into actionable programs and initiatives, ensuring operational teams understand objectives.

Influences without authority, fostering collaboration between teams with different priorities and perspectives.

Continuous Improvement & Best Practices

Drives a program-wide culture of continuous improvement, ensuring operational initiatives deliver long-term value.

Benchmarks best practices in warehouse operations, logistics, safety, and vendor management, recommending optimizations.

Ensures alignment with lean methodologies, 5S, and operational efficiency principles.

Other Responsibilities

Ensures proficiency in program management tools and reporting systems to track and communicate initiative progress.

Supports the company’s ongoing transformation and growth, adjusting program strategies to evolving business needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field required.

8 or more years’ experience in program or project management within operations, logistics, or supply chain management.

Proven ability to manage complex programs with multiple cross-functional projects.

Strong background in structured program management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile, Lean, Six Sigma).

Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across departments.

Proficiency in program management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, MS Project, or equivalent).

Familiarity with lean methodologies, 5S, and continuous improvement frameworks is a plus.

PMP, PgMP (Program Management Professional), or equivalent certification preferred.

Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
