About the Role:
We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Marketing, Government Solutions to lead marketing efforts for Autura’s public sector product line. This includes full-cycle ownership of product marketing, customer marketing, and demand generation for ARIES Dispatch, PPI, and Impound solutions.
This role is ideal for a B2B / B2G SaaS marketing leader who thrives in vertical markets, can connect product value to public sector pain points, and knows how to craft messaging that moves both policy-minded stakeholders and operational buyers.
You will partner closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Events to bring our government solutions to market and grow adoption among police departments, government agencies, and towing providers operating in public programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Demand Generation
· Create and execute multichannel campaigns to generate qualified leads across city, county, and state agency targets.
· Work with Sales to align campaigns to specific territories, RFP windows, and seasonal buying trends.
· Use paid and organic channels, webinars, thought leadership, events, and outbound programs to create pipeline.
Product Marketing
· Develop positioning, messaging, and differentiation for Autura’s government towing management solutions.
· Own creation of messaging frameworks, battlecards, segment briefs, and launch kits.
· Partner with Product and Sales on go-to-market strategies for new features and solution releases.
· Translate technical features into customer-facing value propositions across segments (e.g., law enforcement, communications leadership, city administrators).
Customer Marketing
· Build content and programs that educate, retain, and upsell public sector customers.
· Create case studies, training materials, and customer communications to highlight product impact.
· Develop referral and testimonial strategies that support sales cycles and community trust.
Collaboration & Enablement
· Enable Sales with tools and training to engage government stakeholders at all stages of the buyer journey.
· Collaborate with the Events Manager on trade show strategy and presence, including speaking submissions and booth messaging.
· Provide content and campaign strategy to support RFP responses and procurement processes.
About You:
· 6–10 years of marketing experience in B2B SaaS, preferably in GovTech or regulated industries.
· Proven experience leading integrated campaigns, content creation, and product launches.
· Ability to connect strategic messaging to buyer needs — especially for public sector and operational audiences.
· Strong writing and storytelling ability; experience creating messaging frameworks and GTM collateral.
· Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with sales, product, and exec teams.
· Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation tools, and reporting platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
