About us

Decerto is a Polish insurance software house that offers comprehensive systems for the insurance industry. Decerto has two key products for insurers: Agent Portal (a system for automating the work of insurance agents) and Higson (a Business Rules Engine solution). Our company develops insurance solutions for 80% of the Polish insurance market. We also operate in the United States and the United Kingdom. We are expanding our collaboration with new clients in the USA.


We are seeking a National Sales Manager responsible for generating new sales and business development opportunities for a SaaS application for the U.S. insurance market.



About the Role

The primary purpose of this role is to generate new business and work with existing and new partners in the insurance market, so we require a strong network and understanding of the cross-section of insurance and software solution providers.


You will:

  • Work directly with the internal marketing and outbound sales team.
  • Generate new sales opportunities in the insurance industry.
  • Prospect and build a strong sales pipeline.
  • Build new relationships with insurers and close sales, and achieve revenue targets.
  • Work with the internal sales team, provide input and support overall marketing and growth strategy.

Other details:

  • The role reports directly to a senior executive or C-suite.
  • This position can be based anywhere within the continental United States, within Central and Eastern time.
  • Domestic travel within the U.S. is required.



Major Duties/Responsibilities

  • Pro-active development of new business.
  • Lead and personally undertake sales activities from initial contact until sale closure. This will include contacting prospects face-to-face as well as electronically, attending conferences, and marketing events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key prospects, decision makers, and insurance experts.
  • Client demonstrations, preparation of detailed quotations and proposals that fully meet client expectations.
  • Follow corporate procedures and guidelines for quotation review and accept responsibility for the scope, accuracy, and award of these proposals.
  • Clearly articulate the overall value proposition and specifically the features and benefits of our set of core software products.
  • Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement.
  • Achieve target sales volumes.
  • Maintain a solid knowledge of the application and its underlying technology, the range of existing product functionality, features, and consulting services.
  • Represent the organization at trade shows, conferences, industry meetings, and other avenues to initiate new sales.
  • Provide feedback on marketing strategies and product development.
  • Network with industry leaders, industry vendors, competitors, and participate in industry forums.
  • Ensure deal visibility and accountability at key points in the sales cycle.



Qualifications

  • Proven 5+ years of sales experience in Insurance and SaaS technology, or Insurtech experience, is required.
