Global Network Manager

Location: United States, preferably within 1–2 hours of the tri-state area; open to 100% remote for the right candidate

Reporting to: Director of IT Engineering

Vitech is hiring a Global Network Manager to lead the design, modernization, and performance of our global network infrastructure. In this leadership role, you'll shape the future of how we connect our people and platforms—both on-prem and in the cloud—while managing a high-performing team of network engineers.

What you will do:

Lead and Execute: Set strategy and manage the execution of a reliable, scalable, and secure global network infrastructure aligned to Vitech’s business goals.
Architect the Future: Oversee engineering and architectural design of network systems across our hybrid environment—on-premise, Azure, and AWS.
Modernize Infrastructure: Drive the transition to a cloud-first, remote-friendly network model. Develop lifecycle refresh strategies for hardware and software.
Mentor and Inspire: Manage a small team of engineers, providing direction, development, and mentorship to elevate team performance and technical depth.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work cross-functionally with IT Security, Cloud, End User Services, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions and strengthen the enterprise security posture.
Drive Innovation: Evaluate emerging network technologies and implement strategies to improve performance, reduce cost, and support digital transformation initiatives.
Manage and Support: Provide end-level support for escalated incidents, maintain network documentation, and ensure compliance with DR planning and network governance.
Engage with Vendors: Partner with strategic vendors to ensure platforms are optimized and within vendor guidelines.

What We’re Looking For:

10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise networking, including hands-on work with Cisco, Palo Alto, Azure, and AWS.
Prior leadership or management experience overseeing technical teams.
Proven expertise in:
IP Routing/Switching, Firewalls, Load Balancers
Network design within cloud environments (Azure NSGs, AWS VPCs)
Network monitoring tools, traffic shaping, and access point technologies
Strong command of core technologies: TCP/IP, Cisco IOS, LAN/WAN, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, VPN, IPSEC, SNMP, NAC, and more.
Experience supporting hybrid environments and colocation data centers.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to lead Architectural Review Boards and articulate infrastructure strategy to senior leadership.
A passion for building scalable systems that support secure, anytime-anywhere access for a global workforce.
