The Opportunity:

The Product Intake Analyst will be responsible for supporting and managing the intake process of new products and services. This role requires expert-level knowledge of products, the technology behind them and the subject matter experts to go to in creating new opportunities forward. This role will involve analyzing and evaluating product information, technical requirements, feasibility, integration and ensuring that all necessary documentation and requirements are met. The role will work cross-functionally across the organization to capture requirements, size requests and support the prioritization of new product requests. The position will be responsible for conducting impact analysis, identifying risks & dependencies and a thorough understanding of the organizations product set.

Day in the Life:

  • Review and assess product information provided by development teams, solution architects, vendors, other stakeholders, and/or requestors.
  • Analyze market trends and consumer demand to determine the potential success of new products.
  • Manage cross-functional teams, including product, development, infrastructure and sales to coordinate a successful product intake process.
  • Adhere to standard timeframes to complete new product request analysis.
  • Ability to conduct an impact assessment and analysis to identify impacted teams, systems & applications.
  • Ensure that all regulatory and compliance requirements are met for each new product or service.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and manage KPIs
  • Monitor and track the progress of new product intake requests and provide regular, routine updates to stakeholders.
  • Report periodically to senior leadership on organizational trends and subsequent initiatives to address
  • Establish relationships and work directly with key strategic vendors including processing platforms
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of the processing platforms, interdependencies and nuances
  • Identify opportunities to improve the process for efficiency and increased transparency in the intake process.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape to make informed decisions about product selection.
  • Facilitate Client Contract Request facilitation.
  • Work with Pricing, Product and Sales to conduct research and analysis to identify target markets, opportunities and pricing strategies.
  • Successfully capture requirements for a successful business case including details such as business requirements, scope of the effort, impacted systems & platforms, financial model, Client impact, capacity planning and organizational value.
  • Support successful execution of the Phase 1: Initiation efforts for the companies commercialization process

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Five (5) years experience in Business Analysis required from one or more of the following disciplines: product, enterprise, data, business process, reporting, system, and stakeholder (or related experience).
  • Three (3) years of payments processing or financial service experience preferred. Experience with User Experience and Product Design preferred. 
  • Ability to manage and lead large cross-functional teams in order to reach established timelines and milestones.
  • Ability to plan, track and control projects in a fast-paced environment, while managing multiple priorities/projects and meeting deadlines
  • Understanding the concepts of project prioritization, impact, and risk assessment
  • Thorough understanding of the card payment industry, various processing systems, and/or related in-house applications
  • Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet computer software applications
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of materials handled
  • Ability to be flexible and work under high pressure in a complex environment

Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
