As Channel Account Manager North America, you love interacting and building rapport with channel partners alike. The importance of monitoring critical IT, OT and IoT devices, systems and services is obvious to you and motivates you to help deliver those benefits to a wider audience of potential PRTG users. You excel at identifying pain points, delivering value, educating contacts collaborating with the Paessler Sales org to close opportunities. Being organized, working remotely and independently while always willing to lend a hand to your team, come naturally to you. This position is based within United States.
YOUR TASKS
Business Planning and Review
Set the target for your assigned Reseller Partners and ensure they achieve their Deal Registration and revenue targets by generating, executing and measuring a joint business plan (includes revenue targets, marketing, training and certifications)
Perform regular business reviews with the assigned partners to measure success and define adjustments where needed
Ensure partners enlarge our footprint at the assigned customers and to sell all our products to the largest possible extend (Cross and Upselling).
Ensure the partner is selling our complete portfolio and all license types - focus is on big licenses and on NEW/Upgrade business
Motivate the partner to set individual targets for our portfolio on their internal sellers
Ensure the partners have the necessary know-how, resources and information to effectively sell Paessler software.
Ensure the partner and Paessler have solid network on all Hierarchy levels
Support all this through regular onsite visits (or web meetings)
Pipeline Generation and Managerment
Plan, execute and measure joint pipeline generation marketing activities with the assigned partners together with our channel marketing manager
Hand over opportunities and leads to their assigned Partners to fuel the relationship - measure how much the partner gives back (DealRegs, Partner Initiated pipeline, ..) and ensure a win-win situation between Paessler and the partner
Work closely with partners to identify potential customers and pipeline, provide product information and demonstrations, and support the partners throughout the sales process
Ensure the partners revenue forecast is up to date in our CRM at all times
Represent Paessler at Partner Events and Webinars
Partner onboarding and offboarding
Identify, recommend and onboard new partners, set goals, provide training, and ensure certification
Recommend and phase out / downgrade partners that don't successfully execute the joint plan
YOUR PROFILE
Proven track record in sales with strong experience in channel sales
Good affinity for technology/IT to quickly find your way into the world of monitoring or already know it.
Ideally, you have already gained experience in sales in the IT industry.
Experienced in working with various CRM platforms
Professional Dutch and English language skills, additional languages are a plus
Strong communication skills and a convincing manner that inspires customers to use our product
Proven ability to work in an innovative and ever-changing environment
You are independent, proactive, forward thinking and self-reliant
You are willing to travel up to 30% within the North America region
