Position Overview:

Health Express Clinics is currently seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Medical Receptionist Virtual Assistant (PODIATRY EXPERIENCE) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical office administration, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced virtual environment. As a Medical Receptionist Virtual Assistant, you will be responsible for providing top-notch administrative support to medical practices, ensuring seamless coordination of patient appointments and inquiries.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals via phone, email, and online chat.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in appointment booking.
  • Manage patient registration process, including verifying insurance information and updating patient records in electronic medical records (EMRs) or practice management software.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to patient inquiries and requests for information.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate communication of patient information and scheduling changes.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines at all times.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as billing inquiries, insurance claims processing, and medical records management.
  • Collaborate with other members of the virtual assistance team to provide comprehensive support to medical practices.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a virtual Medical Receptionist or similar role in a healthcare setting (Podiatry clinical setting)
  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMRs) or practice management software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures.

Benefits:

  • Independent Contractor position
  • Compensation: $5/hr for the first 3 months and then $6/Hr afterwards.
  • CST/PST/EST work schedule.
  • HMO after 6 months of services
