Job description

The Sr. Manager - Enterprise Engineering is responsible for managing the Enterprise Engineering team to ensure operational objectives are met and overseeing the stability and performance of desktop and mobile environments. It also includes implementing new technologies and managing updates and metrics.

This position can be worked remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Pursuant to California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington, Washington, DC, Jersey City, New Jersey, Illinois, Minneapolis, Vermont regulation, the salary range for this position is $158,600 to $199,000 annually and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for management of the Enterprise Engineering team ensuring that the team meets its operational objectives.
  • Responsible for software and hardware release management and quality assurance for Desktop, Mobile and virtual desktop environments.
  • Responsible for Identifying and driving the remediation of systemic issues with Desktop, Virtual Desktop and Mobile platforms.
  • Responsible for researching, evaluating and driving the implementation of new desktop and mobile technologies.
  • Responsible for patch management of all Windows, desktop and mobile platforms.
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting on desktop, VDI and mobile metrics and KPIs.
  • Responsible for ensuring stable and performing desktop and mobile environments.
  • Responsible for managing Desktop, Virtual Desktop, Windows OS, IOS, Software deployment, software management, licensing adherence, Apple iOS and MDM

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience with managing engineering teams and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team supporting a 24/7 enterprise customer base.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team responsible for production systems. Ability to resolve issues and requests both during and off business hours.
  • Demonstrated experience with software and hardware release management, process documentation, standard creation, As-built documentation, creation of release notes
  • Demonstrated experience managing desktop imaging, virtual desktop environment, mobile operational support, Active Directory, Office365, Microsoft Office suite management, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams.
  • Deep knowledge of Windows OS, SCCM, AVD and IOS internals and technology.
  • Experience with MS software stack including Office, Active Directory, scripting and automation.
  • Demonstrated experience with user profile management.
  • Demonstrated experience with MDM tools.
  • Knowledge of user profile management technologies preferred
  • Deep understanding of desktop lifecycle management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity best practices to ensure secure and efficient systems
  • Identify and recommend technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency and support business growth
  • Demonstrated knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analytics, and enterprise systems

Education And Certifications

Required: bachelor's in information systems or information technology.
