Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and talented Developer Intern to join our Software Development team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in software development, working primarily on our flagship product, Printer’s Plan, a C++ application. The selected candidate will work closely with senior developers and will gain exposure to various aspects of the software development lifecycle, including coding, documentation, unit testing, deployment, support, and security.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior developers to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality code.
  • Assist in coding and implementing new features in Printer’s Plan, a C++ application.
  • Support the development team with unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to code documentation to ensure clarity and maintainability.
  • Participate in deployment processes and support release management.
  • Help identify and fix security vulnerabilities in code as needed.
  • Provide support for existing applications and assist in resolving technical issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Basic knowledge of C++ programming language.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Basic knowledge of secure coding practices is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Familiarity with security principles and secure coding techniques.
  • Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).
  • Exposure to software deployment and release management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
