Job description

The Summer Intern, Communications will develop an understanding of the consulting environment and work under the guidance of the Communications Practice and have opportunities to work with prominent clients in the creation of communications pieces. Projects will be varied and change weekly, if not daily.

The Intern takes accountability for managing his/her time effectively and for producing accurate, detailed and high-quality work.

Essential Functions

  • Draft communications products, emails, visual pieces, blogs, and videos
  • Complete administrative tasks involved with project implementation including the schedules, outlines and email drafts
  • Participate in team meetings and may be asked to present on key subject matters
  • Assist with marketing collateral and assignments
  • Assist with copy editing and proofreading assignments
  • Assist in problem-solving and troubleshooting day-to-day issues
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Previous expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Asana, HTML helpful
  • Extremely high level of attention to detail
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Superior organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as well as independently
  • At least two plus years of undergraduate level education with a specialty in Communications, Design, or similar discipline
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Hourly Rate Range: $18.00 - $28.00
