Job description

Description of Job Function:

Responsible for assisting the Certification body with client inquiries, follow up and outbound calling. Effective interaction with Certification Services team, auditors, office staff and clients to effectively manage day to day activity and documentation.

 

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Manage client inquiries and follow up process.
  • Make outbound calls to potential clients.
  • Assist with ensuring new clients complete the required documentation to assure that audits are carried out effectively according to the Quality System.
  • Create quotes for potential clients.
  • Coordinate with Certification Managers on application approvals.
  • Maintain scheduling database and files including, but not limited to, new accounts, closed accounts, scheduling and personnel changes. 
  • Interact with Client Services and Management Staff to schedule audits and training activities.
  • Assist with internal customer inquiries regarding the Quality System procedures and competence records needed for all personnel completing certification activities.

 

Additional Activities:

  • Process correspondence as required.
  • Support the certification activities by providing and sourcing relevant documentation and literature for auditors and administrative personnel.
  • Work alongside the Associate, Certification Services to support the maintenance of client accounts.
  • Work alongside the Reports Associate, Certification Services to support the post audit process.
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate that will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity and efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist with identification of areas to enhance efficiencies and increase customer service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

 

Principal Customers:

AIBI - Certification Services staff, AIB and AIBI staff, Client Services and Business Processes Scheduling & Reporting, food processors, food distributors and food-related packaging facilities

 

Qualifications Required:

Education

  • High School diploma (or equivalent) and two years post-secondary education or equivalent experience.

 

Experience

  • Working knowledge of Quality System implementation, control and maintenance - ISO Standards, BRCGS and SQF Standards, IFS, ISO/TS 17065, ISO/IEC 17021, PPC, etc. is preferred.
  • Inside sales experience or other sales support experience preferred.

 

Administrative Skills

  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills and clear and concise writing abilities including correct grammar, sentence structure, and spelling. Must be able to work independently of direct supervisors.
  • Computer proficiency (Office and AQMS)

 

On-going maintenance

  • Annual performance review
