ABOUT US
Elevation Capital is a group of internationally impactful companies spanning CPG, hospitality, technology, real estate, non-profit and venture funding. Run by a highly entrepreneurial self made founder and a team of highly capable executives across business units, the business operates globally with interests in US, Canada, Europe and the Caribbean. With wholly owned companies in a range of growth stages and an ever expanding investment portfolio, this group serves a global vision to create an evolved world where humanity serves our highest purpose. Our mission is to create and deploy capital for a better world.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As Group COO / Operating Partner in our family office group, you'll be managing a diversified portfolio of investments, primarily wholly owned operational companies in real estate manufacturing, technology, private equity, and venture capital. Our primary focus is on generating sustainable long-term returns while making a positive impact on society. You'll play a critical role in executing the group-wide exit roadmap, driving capital raises, and ensuring our operating companies are aligned and delivering on value creation objectives.
You'll be the right hand operating partner to our incredibly driven and entrepreneurial founder and CEO. You'll bring your own entrepreneurial energy, excitement and drive to oversee the operations of our FO group and drive results in our operating companies. Operating in a complex, fast moving, and very ambitious environment, you'll lead a number of functions and will balance the requirement to be very hands on, but also be highly strategic while attracting, deploying, retaining top talent and invigorating both corporate strategy and structure.
You'll own and operationalize strategic goal setting across the multi-business portfolio – implementing a unified planning and reporting rhythm that drives clarity, cadence, and performance at all levels. In this long term growth focused role, you'll manage hands on, activities which could include investment, M&A, legal, oversight of land development, tax and finance advising, and help acquire and lead operating unit presidents in primarily wholly owned businesses to develop and execute strategic planning, budgeting, strategic delivery, profitability, cash flow, and ultimately, realized value. With a blend of operating and strategic focus, you'll plan over the horizon and will align and bring to reality the long term vision of our founder, while organizing all elements of the operational structure.
You'll lead M&A activities driving the thinking and strategy for what businesses we acquire and divest and work with powerful internal and external teams to conceptualize, structure and achieve lucrative exits and capital events for portfolio companies. You'll oversee and maintain LOI-ready data rooms and buyer engagement strategy to maximize exit visibility. You'll participate and in some cases lead liquidity strategies for port companies developing the route to build value and profitability and ensuring the path to liquidity events is optimized for maximum value. Additionally, you'll oversee global risk and tax strategy, and manage high-performing external advisors to ensure compliance and optimization across jurisdictions.
Land development is a critical focus area. You'll oversee a VP of Land Development who is responsible for permitting, budgeting, contractor timelines, and physical site execution across major development projects. You're accountable for ensuring strategic alignment, reporting cadence, and removing roadblocks to progress while keeping your focus on broader portfolio execution and value creation. This includes frequent travel to sites, coordination with local partners, budget and permit oversight, and unblocking progress. The principal brings vision, the Group COO will be the vision catcher + implementer, and the VP of Land Development is the executor with visionary capacity. This role must integrate their strengths to orchestrate seamless execution and value creation across the enterprise.
