Overview

As a Global Account Manager at Altour (a division of Internova), you will serve as the strategic lead and trusted advisor for a portfolio of high-value, multinational corporate clients. You’ll play a critical role in shaping client travel programs, driving commercial outcomes, and elevating the client experience across regions. Working collaboratively with global and local stakeholders, your focus will be on delivering measurable value through proactive program management, consultative engagement, and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

Client Leadership & Strategy

  • Serve as the senior point of contact for assigned global clients, building executive relationships and establishing long-term partnership strategies.
  • Lead global account planning processes and strategic business reviews (QBRs/ABRs) that align client goals with Altour’s solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize client programs through policy, supplier strategy, behavioral change, and automation.

Global Coordination & Collaboration

  • Act as the global program orchestrator, aligning internal stakeholders, regional teams, and service delivery operations.
  • Ensure consistent global program delivery while supporting local market adaptation.
  • Drive best-practice sharing and process alignment across regions and functions.

Data-Driven Insight & Reporting

  • Leverage reporting tools, dashboards, and data analytics to deliver actionable insights and support client decision-making.
  • Monitor KPIs, SLA performance, and travel program savings to ensure value realization.

Commercial Management

  • Collaborate with Sales and Finance to track account profitability and contract compliance.
  • Identify revenue growth opportunities and support upsell and cross-sell initiatives.

Innovation & Program Evolution

  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and sustainability practices to bring forward-thinking solutions to clients.
  • Actively contribute to Altour’s product feedback loop based on client needs and market intelligence.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in client-facing roles within the travel industry or related fields (TMC, airline, hospitality, consulting), with at least 3 years in global or multi-regional account management.
  • Proven experience leading complex, multinational programs with matrixed stakeholders and service delivery models.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience driving client value, program optimization, and business growth.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills—comfortable influencing at executive levels.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to inform strategy, performance tracking, and recommendations.
  • Collaborative and agile approach to working across time zones, cultures, and teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with major online booking tools, expense platforms, or travel technology solutions.
  • Familiarity with TMC operating models and key industry KPIs.
  • Project management or change management certification a plus.
