Visual Designer - Web

Are you a passionate and experienced Designer ready to lead and inspire a talented team? Join our dynamic design group at Aquent Studios, where you’ll shape the visual identity of B2B commercial web properties for our Global Technology client. You’ll not only craft high-quality visuals but also mentor mid- to senior-level designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Your expertise in web UI/UX principles, coupled with your experience on platforms like AEM and Azure, will be instrumental in maintaining design consistency and elevating the aesthetic of our client-facing websites.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor a team of visual designers, guiding their professional growth and ensuring design excellence.
• Conceptualize and design compelling, high-quality visuals tailored for B2B commercial web properties.
• Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive style guides to ensure consistent and cohesive web UI/UX.
• Collaborate effectively with developers and stakeholders to seamlessly implement design solutions.
• Manage design workflows to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of all visual assets.
• Continuously explore and integrate the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to enhance our visual output.
  
  

Qualifications

• 6+ years of proven experience as a Visual Designer, UI Designer, or Web Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing B2B-focused work.
• Expert proficiency in Figma and strong working knowledge of other industry-standard design tools (e.g., Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision).
• Significant experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Microsoft Azure platforms is highly valued.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and mentorship abilities, with a passion for fostering team growth.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
• Prior experience in an enterprise-level organization is a plus.
• Strong understanding of web accessibility standards, inclusive design principles, and accessibility features across various operating systems.
• Ability to excel in a dynamic, rapidly evolving, and deadline-driven work setting.
  
  

Compensation Range: $60 -65/hr DOE

The range provided is our reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location.
