The Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Programmatic Ad Operations Manager to play a key role in the execution and optimization of our programmatic advertising campaigns. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end campaign process, from setup and trafficking to monitoring, analysis, and reporting. You will work closely with Media Buyers, Media Planners, Client Service, and Data teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and drive optimal performance for our enterprise advertisers. Your expertise will be crucial in leveraging programmatic technologies and best practices to maximize campaign effectiveness and achieve client objectives.

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $70,000 - $80,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. At Wpromote, pay ranges are subject to change and are based on specific market medians for similar jobs according to third-party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary due to skills, experience, and available budget. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above).

You Will BeCampaign Management and Execution:Overseeing the setup, implementation, and trafficking of programmatic advertising campaigns across various platforms and channels.Managing the day-to-day operations of campaigns, ensuring accurate configuration, timely launch, and smooth delivery.Coordinating with Media Buying and Planning teams to align campaign setup with media strategies and objectives.Executing tagging requests for media-side and consulting-side tracking, collaborating with the Media & Analytics teams to ensure accurate data capture and reporting.Ensuring accurate ad trafficking, contract fulfillment, and quality control across multiple website properties.Technical Proficiency and Troubleshooting:Serving as a key point of contact for technical issues related to ad serving, creative execution, and ad tech platforms.Troubleshooting campaign delivery and technical issues, working with internal teams and external vendors to identify and implement effective solutions.Maintaining and enhancing expertise in Google Marketing Platform (GMP), Campaign Manager 360 (CM360), and other relevant ad tech platforms.Implementing and managing third-party ad server integrations to streamline trafficking workflows.Data Analysis and Reporting:Monitoring, tracking, and analyzing campaign performance data to identify trends, insights, and optimization opportunities.Generating and delivering regular performance reports to internal stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and campaign progress.Collaborating with the Data team to ensure accurate data flow and enhance reporting capabilities.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Working closely with Media, Consulting, and Data teams to ensure seamless operational workflows, efficient reporting, and effective technology integration.Supporting interdepartmental communication to ensure all campaign elements are managed according to process and schedule.Providing proactive updates to the Programmatic Activation team on campaign status, performance, and potential issues.Collaborating with Client Service Managers regarding asset delivery and campaign requirements.Quality Assurance and Process Improvement:Ensuring all campaign setups and executions adhere to quality standards and best practices.Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and enhance accuracy.Creating and maintaining documentation of best practices, processes, and platform updates.You Must Have2+ years of Ad Operations experience, preferably within an agency or ad tech environment, with a focus on programmatic advertising.Strong understanding of programmatic advertising concepts, technologies, and the digital advertising ecosystem.Proficiency in Google Marketing Platform (GMP) and Campaign Manager 360 (CM360) is required.Experience with third-party ad servers, verification tools, and rich media vendors (e.g., MOAT, IAS, DoubleVerify, Flashtalking).Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and web debugging tools.Familiarity with various programmatic buying methods (e.g., RTB, programmatic direct) and deal types (e.g., PMPs, PG).Solid understanding of media planning and buying processes, with a focus on programmatic strategies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a data-driven approach.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Basic knowledge of media campaign KPIs (e.g., CTR, viewability, reach, frequency, ROI).Wpromote is committed to bringing together individuals from different backgrounds and perspectives, providing employees with a safe and welcoming environment free of discrimination and harassment.
