About the Sales Manager – Google Pixel
MarketStar is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead our Pixel Reseller team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities and performance of a national field sales team focused on driving the sell-through and market share of Pixel devices within the reseller channel. You will achieve this through a comprehensive approach encompassing direct and indirect customer sales, associate training, and effective engagement with reseller sellers and leadership, both in person and virtually.
What will you do?
Drive significant sell-through and market share for Pixel devices within the reseller channel through strategic planning and execution.
Lead a national field team, managing their daily activities and performance to ensure individual and team success.
Cultivate strong relationships and influence B2B Carrier representatives both face-to-face and through virtual engagement.
Collect, analyze, and leverage sales data and analytics to monitor team performance and identify areas for improvement.
Provide insightful market-level reporting, feedback, and analysis on current B2B market conditions and opportunities impacting Pixel market share within the reseller space.
Conduct regular team meetings and huddles to ensure clear alignment on performance metrics and sales goals.
Identify and implement best practices, providing recommendations to senior leadership to enhance team and program performance and uncover potential growth avenues within the reseller ecosystem.
Contribute to the improvement of client products and processes by identifying sales trends and relaying valuable customer feedback.
Support the sales team by ensuring the timely and accurate upkeep of all internal systems and tools, including expense reporting and timecards.
Maintain and enhance employee effectiveness and productivity through consistent coaching, mentoring, and effective management.
Drive and deliver key performance indicator (KPI) metrics and comprehensive activity reports for the reseller team.
Ensure adherence to MarketStar programs, policies, procedures, and best practices.
Proactively protect and grow existing business by guiding the team to maintain a robust sales pipeline and achieve strong close rates within reseller accounts.
Ensure the team consistently meets and exceeds client sales targets on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
What will you need to succeed?
Proven experience in sales and/or B2B sales with a strong preference for experience within the reseller channel, ideally with exposure to wireless products.
Demonstrated experience in sales leadership or account management leadership roles.
Strong familiarity and proficiency with Google services (Drive, Meet, Duo, Gmail, Docs, Slides, and Sheets).
Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, sales associates, B2B sales representatives/management, and clients, both in person and virtually.
Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate concepts clearly and persuasively to various audiences.
Proven results-oriented approach with a strong ability to motivate and drive performance within a sales team.
Operationally excellent with a clear understanding of operational workflows and the ability to comprehend and create new processes.
Adaptive management style with the capacity to operate effectively at both micro and macro levels.
Self-reliant, adaptable, decisive, and professional demeanor with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM systems for data collection and input.
Understanding of basic accounting, sales, finance, and human resources processes and procedures.
Strong organizational, coordination, and project management skills.
Ability to learn quickly and excel in a collaborative team environment.

The salary range for this position is between $80,000.00 and $85,000.00 annually. This pay structure may also include a variable bonus component of $10,000.00 annually. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role’s responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills.
