Role Overview: 

As an Account Manager, you will be the key point of contact for our clients, managing and growing a portfolio of existing customer accounts, with a primary focus on securing renewals and identifying revenue expansion opportunities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, particularly sales, client success, and product, to solve complex client challenges, mitigate client risks, drive client renewals, and identify opportunities for growth.  

  • Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring continued utilization of K1x products 
  • Develop and maintain accurate revenue forecasts, working closely with finance, sales, client success, and operations teams 
  • Monitor account health metrics and revenue indicators to predict and prevent potential churn 
  • Lead negotiations and support the close of renewals and upsell opportunities. 
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify and act on cross-selling opportunities. 
  • Monitor and analyze client data in collaboration with the client success team to ensure optimal usage and additional product engagement of the platform.  

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Account Management or Sales roles. 
  • Previous experience working in a startup environment is highly preferred. 
  • Strong background in financial technology or enterprise-level tech companies. 
  • Strong experience with client success software such as Gainsight and Hubspot. 
  • Proven experience with deal-making, negotiations, and managing client relationships in a revenue-driven environment. 
  • Ability to solve complex problems and provide data-driven insights. 
  • Experience working with data analytics tools, CRMs, or client reporting systems. 
  • A growth mindset with a drive to advance in your career and adapt in a fast-growing company. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
