This position will identify and execute corporate marketing strategies to support the promotion, expansion, and growth of LocateSmarter’s products and services.

The National Account Executive is responsible for: building relationships, determining specific product needs, closing the deal, and getting the client implemented. Once clients are implemented this position will be responsible for retaining client revenue and maintaining relationships as well as managing upsell and cross-sell opportunities within their designated book of business. The National Account Executive will consult with C-level decision makers to understand and diagnose the organization’s business needs and develop complex solutions to targeted companies.

Job Details:

  • Monitor and report on client utilization through the sales CRM and monthly dashboards.

  • Promote positive client relationships by conducting NPS surveys, seeking client feedback, and developing necessary responses.

  • Coordinate and execute regular client interactions and communications, including site visits, tradeshows, and monthly meetings.

  • Manage client issues and concerns relevant to the business relationship and facilitate appropriate responses by utilizing company resources.

  • Seek referrals and references.

  • Manage client transition to customers with the appropriate process and staff resources.

  • Conduct and manage qualifying and pain assessment meetings, to close lead opportunities by using presentation skills, product knowledge and written correspondence.  Including leaving messages and direct phone correspondence by managing the communications with negotiation skills to close clients.

  • Expected to learn, utilize, and assist in the management of our Sales Automation tools and CRM (HubSpot).

  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects to meet quota requirements.

  • Manage client transition to customers with the appropriate process and staff resources.

  • Navigate through complex negotiations with front line management and executive level personnel.

  • Draft and deliver proposals.

  • Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge, to have meaningful conversations with prospects.

  • Consult with prospects about business challenges, requirements and provide recommendations for solutions, as well as the range of options and cost benefits of each.

  • Provide forecasts on best case and most likely sales volumes over relevant time periods.

  • Work with marketing to plan and execute lead generation campaigns.

  • Provide feedback to sales management on ways to decrease the sales cycle, enhance sales and improve the company brand and reputation.

  • Create presentations for senior managers and decision makers.

  • Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales.

  • Have exceptional management and resource management skills to manage clients internally through the on-boarding process.

  • Work with technical staff and product specialists where required to address customer requirements.

  • Expected to represent Locate Smarter with the upmost professionalism in all written and verbal communications.

Job Requirements:

  • Four-year undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

  • Sales Management Training is preferred.

  • 5 plus years of direct sales and/or sales management experience.

  • Prefer proof of solution sales and management of CRM platform activities to manage clients.

  • Experience in GLBA regulated data and markets/companies who consume consumer data.

  • Experience in partnership development within the consumer data industry.

  • Experience with API solutions as well as data site license solutions preferred.

  • Experience in working with or on product development teams preferred.
