As an AI innovation lead on the Enterprise ML/AI team, you’ll spearhead the development and implementation of cutting-edge AI solutions designed to revolutionize user experiences and enhance productivity. In this role, you’ll leverage your expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning to drive strategic initiatives, collaborating with diverse teams to innovate and refine Progressive’s CoPilot capabilities. You’ll help guide the project from conceptualization through to deployment, ensuring that CoPilot remains at the forefront of technological advancement. With a focus on user-centric design and seamless integration, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of AI-driven assistance, making impactful contributions to the organization’s vision and success.

This is a remote position for US based work only.

Must-have Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum of five years of work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications.
  • In lieu of degree, minimum of six years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications may be accepted

Preferred Skills

  • Extensive Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and End-to-End Solution Development: Proven track record in building robust backend and frontend solutions, while effectively setting scope, direction, and identifying opportunities for impactful work.
  • Strong Expertise in Cloud Services and Infrastructure Automation: Comprehensive experience with AWS cloud services, complemented by proficiency in Terraform for efficient infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Proficiency in DevOps and CICD Practices: Skilled in implementing CICD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions to streamline software delivery and deployment processes.
  • Full-Stack Development and API Expertise: Versatile experience in RESTful API development and full-stack frameworks, including React, Angular, Python, JavaScript, and Golang, ensuring seamless integration and user experience.
  • Database Systems and Containerization Knowledge: Deep understanding of OLTP, OLAP, and NoSQL database systems, with preferred exposure to Kubernetes for scalable and containerized application deployment.

Compensation

  • $144,350 - $168,400/year
  • Gainshare annual cash performance incentive payment up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
