About the Role

As our Senior Financial Analyst, you’ll be responsible for improving reporting, analysis and partnering with various departments to provide insights and drive process improvements. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Budget & Forecasting

    • Support Director of Finance in budgeting process and ongoing forecast including quarterly and monthly updates

    • Track spend for all cost drivers ensuring processes align with companies priorities

  • Reporting & Analysis

    • Own monthly and quarterly reporting packages including identifying trends, opportunities and risks to improve financial performance

    • Develop and monitor KPIs and departmental metrics ensuring transparency accuracy across all reporting.

    • Collaborate cross functionally to strengthen financial acumen across all departments enabling teams to operate efficiently.

  • System and Process Optimization

    • Optimize finance processes to ensure seamless month end and actionable insights

    • Lead development and implementation of automated workflows, reporting architecture and sustainable, scalable and repeatable processes.

What You Bring:

  • 4+ years of experience in accounting, 2+ years of FP&A experience.

  • Familiarity with tools like QBO, Brex, Plooto, Intacct, Netsuite is an asset.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • CPA or similar certification is a plus (Canada)

  • Experience in Multi-Entity , Multi Currency Environment

  • Experience in startup / scale up SaaS environment
