Job description

Company Overview

Hapn is a fast-growing technology company specializing in GPS tracking and Telematics solutions across both business and consumer markets. Our consumer division serves tens of thousands of customers with innovative tracking solutions that combine powerful hardware with intuitive software. As a product-forward company, we pride ourselves on rapid iteration, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional collaboration. Our fully remote team works together to push the boundaries of what's possible in the GPS tracking space.

Role Overview

You’ll work within a cross-departmental team owning every dollar of paid media for the consumer business—Amazon Ads (including DSP), Google Ads, Walmart Sponsored Products, Meta, and any future channels. This is a hands‑on role: planning, launching, and optimizing campaigns yourself, not via agencies. Success is measured by profitable growth (ROAS, CAC, MRR ) and your contribution to the team’s quarterly variable‑comp pool.

What Makes This Role Unique

  • Direct Revenue Impact – Control a mid‑six‑figure monthly budget and see your work’s impact within days.
  • End‑to‑End Ownership – Strategy → execution → analysis without the lag associated with working at an agency.
  • Cross‑Functional Team – Partner daily with the team Marketplace Manager, Content Marketing Manager, and Product Manager to align keywords, creative, and promos.
  • Performance‑Driven Pay – Quarterly variable compensation tied to measurable team outcomes.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage ≥ $100 k/mo across Amazon Sponsored Ads, Amazon DSP, Google Ads (Search, Shopping, YouTube), Walmart Connect, and Meta.
  • Own bid strategy, audience segmentation, negative keyword hygiene, and budget pacing.
  • Build and maintain campaign structures already in place; refactor only when data proves uplift.
  • Design and run rapid A/B experiments (copy, creatives, audiences, placements); translate results into next iterations.
  • Deliver weekly performance reports with clear actions and ROAS/CAC context.
  • Partner with Content & Marketplace leads to align keyword lists, competitor targeting, and creative refreshes.
  • Monitor attribution paths (Amazon Marketing Cloud, GA4, post‑purchase surveys) to refine spend allocation.
  • Stay current on platform betas, algorithm shifts, and industry best practices; educate the team.
Must‑Have Qualifications
  • 3‑5+ yrs running performance marketing budgets ≥ $100 k/mo with profit accountability.
  • Expert in Amazon Ads & Amazon DSP (audience setup, ASIN retargeting, AMC query basics).
  • Proven results scaling DTC or marketplace brands on at least two of: Google, Meta, Walmart.
  • Advanced Excel/Sheets (lookups, pivot, power query).
  • Analytical mindset: fluent in ROAS, MER, LTV/CAC, incrementality, and statistical significance.
  • Self‑starter who thrives in lean teams; able to prioritize without guardrails.
  • Excellent written/verbal English; crisp presenter of insights.
Nice‑to‑Have
  • Google Ads & Amazon Ads certifications.
  • Experience with GA4 event setup.
  • Familiarity with affiliate networks or influencer‑paid amplification.
  • Knowledge of creative testing frameworks and briefing designers/video editors.
What Sets You Apart
  • You’re the kind of person who doesn’t wait for direction. You see what needs to be done and jump in, which is vital in our fast-paced, remote setup.
  • You like digging into new ideas—whether it’s tweaking an ad or trying a different audience—and you use what you learn to keep improving.
  • You shine when working across different functions, pulling together with folks from different areas to hit shared goals.
  • You pay attention to the numbers that matter and let them steer your decisions toward real impact.
  • You bring fresh thinking to the table and pair it with solid analysis, a combo that helps us stay sharp and competitive.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary.
  • Quarterly variable compensation tied to product performance.
  • Equity in a fast-growing company with significant potential.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Flexible remote work with a strong remote-first culture.
  • Professional development and clear career growth opportunities.
  • Access to cutting-edge tools and technology.
  • Collaborative, fast-paced environment with regular virtual team-building events.
