Job description

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with  an award-winning multi-licensed, broker who offers online CFD trading on FX, crypto, oil, metals, shares, and indices and seeking to onboard a Business Development Team Lead. 

Position: Business Development Team Lead

Work model and location: Remote within Thailand 

Employment type: Full-time 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the development and execution of strategies to enhance market presence and drive business growth.
  • Formulate and implement plans that target both revenue generation and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research to explore new opportunities, assess customer demands, and stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective clients and strategic partners to present the company's offerings.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Initiate and manage client onboarding processes for relevant services or accounts.
  • Provide client support and training on the use of relevant platforms or software tools.
  • Share general insights on market trends and developments, while refraining from offering personalized advice.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational standards for client engagement and professional communication.
  • Follow regulatory and internal compliance procedures related to client documentation and account management.
  • Build strategic partnerships and promote collaboration with market intermediaries and affiliates.
  • Organize educational or promotional events, such as webinars and seminars, in coordination with partners.

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Native or fluent in English (C1 level), with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, preferably within the financial services or related sector.
  • Solid understanding of financial markets and industry practices.
  • Familiarity with trading platforms such as MT4/MT5 is an advantage.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems and trading platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and follow-up capabilities.
  • Keen interest in market dynamics and financial trends.
  • Effective reporting and documentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret market data and industry news.
