Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and talented Vice President, Marketing and Digital to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic vision and execution of the IGK brand image and programming. This person is a key point of contact for upper management and for the IGK Co-Founders. They understand the strategic objectives and KPIs of the brand and of Luxury Brand Partners and is spearheading and extending a strategy to support them.
Their leadership will be instrumental in driving business growth, expanding market share, and solidifying our position as a leader in the beauty industry. Above all, they will thrive in a lean and scrappy start-up environment, will roll up your sleeves and get into the weeds with our team, doing what it takes to get the job done.
As a member of the IGK’s Marketing team, you will collaborate with the SVP of Sales and Executive Director of Finance and report directly to the Brand President.
This role is classified as exempt from the Fair Labor Standard Act’s overtime requirement, is remote, and open to candidates based in the US. The position requires working in EST or CST hours, so candidates located on the East Coast are preferred. The work environment is primarily remote, requiring reliable internet access and a dedicated workspace free from significant distractions.
What You’ll Do:
Essential Job Functions
- Brand Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive brand marketing strategies that align with the company's overall objectives and growth targets.
- Founders relationship: Establish and maintain relationships with our Co-Founders and Brand Ambassador. Bring their vision to life through compelling social strategies and best-in-class content.
- Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a 9-person team of brand marketers, creatives and digital experts, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and guidance to drive excellence in execution.
- Brand Storytelling: Define and articulate our brand's unique value proposition, ensuring consistency and alignment across all marketing channels and consumer touchpoints.
- Product Marketing: Collaborate closely with Product Development teams to ensure alignment between brand messaging and product offerings, and lead product marketing initiatives that effectively communicate the unique value proposition of our beauty products to consumers.
- Go To Market: Drive the development of integrated marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives that resonate with our target audience and drive brand awareness and affinity.
- Brand Creative: Oversee the creation of compelling marketing assets, including advertising, digital content, and point-of-sale materials, that effectively communicate our brand story and value proposition.
- Social Media: Create a unique brand distortion through all social channels, including TikTok: disruptive, edgy and educational. Engage with our community and be a business driver through social.
- Influencer Relationship: Develop a community of passionate brand ambassadors, creators and affiliates
- Digital Growth: Support our Digital Agency with best-in-class assets, strong story telling and impactful creative. Understand all aspect of Digital Performance KPIs and proactively develop a strategy and calendar to support all Digital activities.
- Market Research: Monitor market trends, consumer insights, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for brand differentiation and growth.
- Budget Management: Manage and optimize the brand marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI and drive sustainable business growth.
- Marketing ROI: Develop robust financial plans and performance metrics to track spending effectiveness and make data-driven decisions to achieve marketing objectives within budgetary constraints.
- Marketing Analytics: Measure and analyze the performance of brand marketing initiatives, leveraging data and insights to optimize strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Cross Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Development, Finance, Planning, Operations and our Digital Agency.
- Personal Leadership: Champion a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence within the brand marketing team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Marketing Trends: Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and innovations in brand marketing, and apply learnings to drive ongoing evolution and improvement.
Non-Essential Job Functions
- Assist with special projects or initiatives as needed to support departmental goals.
- Provide backup coverage for team members during absences or peak workload periods.
- Support cross-departmental efforts or collaborative initiatives when required.
What You’ll Bring:

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field;
- Proven track record of success with 10-15 years of brand and digital/social marketing experience
- Experience in beauty is required; experience in haircare is a plus
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand marketing strategies that drive business results.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Deep understanding of consumer behavior, market dynamics, and industry trends in the beauty sector.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
