Combining the power of human interaction with technology, we tailor solutions to support individual health needs and improve how people engage. Data is the cornerstone of our platform, connecting people and partners and strengthening our collective impact on total healthcare.

Guided by our mission, we think big and dare to do things differently to build the future of healthcare we want to experience in our own lives. If you’re interested in shaping OPH’s approach to health, we want to hear from you.

About This Team

The Health Experience team is the commercialization and performance engine of our organization, dedicated to transforming the way people engage with their health. We drive the success of digital products and health experience services ensuring they deliver meaningful impact for individuals while enhancing the broader healthcare ecosystem. Through strategic execution, customer engagement, and continuous iteration we create solutions that improve access, experience, and outcomes, ultimately shaping a more connected and person-centered future.

About This Role

An OPH US Product Experience Director brings a visionary and execution-focused unique blend of product management and product development experience. In this critical role, you’ll shape the strategic direction of innovative digital products in the US, driving value for both patients and providers. With a focus on driving Zero-to-One Innovation and setting the organization up to scale beyond that, our PMs are focused on ensuring that what we build stems from an understanding of individualized needs along a health journey where OPH can distinctively serve in reducing fragmentation within the health experience. This is all in pursuit of giving each person a better quality of life for longer while contributing to the long-term growth of OPH beyond today’s capabilities and product and service offerings.

As we build out this capability for OPH, you will contribute directly to the creation of new solutions and the growth of a world-class, mission-driven Product organization. This role will report directly into the Digital Products Team leader within Health Experience (Performance) pillar. Success in this role will be directly tied to objectives related to our innovation pipeline, end-user-centered development, scalability of solutions, collaboration, and potential for business growth.

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle – from strategy and roadmap development to execution and optimization.
  • Translate customer insights, market trends, and clinical feedback into a compelling product vision and features that drive engagement, adherence, and outcomes.
  • Understand problems-to-solve within one of our focus areas, create a strategy to address those problems, and prioritize based on pre-determined criteria including cost-benefit analysis.
  • Develop foundational insights related to market, customers, and end-users to validate needs related to the problems.
  • Shape the initial solution space for priority problems without constraint for current status quo, along with a perspective on how to balance internal and external innovation.
  • Identify multiple potential POC opportunities aligned with our product strategy.
  • Prioritize POC targets based on market potential, organizational fit, feasibility, and growth impact.
  • Establish clear success criteria and metrics for POC evaluation that align with our growth strategy and patient outcomes.
  • Build a rapid validation approach with learning/feedback cycles that enable quick iteration.
  • Initiate POC development efforts (e.g., wireframing, prototyping, etc.) with internal and/or external collaborators.
  • Distill learnings into improving existing Development framework and processes within OPH.
  • Work with OPH leadership and Ops to evangelize Development team’s ways of working.
  • Deliver POCs with clear evidence and business case to enable investment and scaling decisions.
  • Develop a backlog and parallel exploration of upcoming POC opportunities while maintaining momentum on ongoing initiatives by supporting scale-up, deployment, and/or launch efforts.
  • Develop a baseline for POC cycle time to create a repeatable innovation process that shortens the POC cycle time for design, development, evaluation, and investment decisions.
  • Create data analytics frameworks to measure effectiveness and drive continuous improvement in Development.
  • Transition POCs to scaling solutions in market with measurable impact on health outcomes, quality of life, and business growth.
  • Complete POCs, reaching a natural decision point while ensuring continuous improvement by codifying and building from learnings in each development project.
  • Define user feedback mechanisms to inform future product development in support of achieving continually improving customer satisfaction from new solutions.
