Job Title:

Loan Officer Assistant, Retail

Location:

Remote - CA (Northern)

What you'll do:

As a Loan Officer Assistant you'll provide support to Loan Officers by managing administrative tasks related to loan applications, including gathering customer documents, verifying information, preparing loan packages, communicating with borrowers and other parties involved in the loan process. You'll also ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately to facilitate the loan approval and closing process.

Assist Loan Officer in gathering documents. Assist Loan Officer with income and asset evaluation.
Follow up with clients as needed to obtain documents, such as Letter of Explanation and clear underwriting conditions. Assist customers on how to e-sign and e-consent when needed.
Work closely with loan processors and underwriters to get final approval.

What you'll need:

1+ years of related experience in Administrative Support, Mortgage or similar field.
High school diploma required.
Entry level to intermediate knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending; including sales, operations, capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
Entry level knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Products.
Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
