Job Description / What you'll get to do:
- Responsible for using a data-driven approach to influence the product development process from concept to launch.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, customer operations, and sales and marketing to ensure that product development is aligned with business objectives, market, and customer needs.
- Help create and maintain L7 | ESP strategic roadmap. Synthesize insights and direct dashboards and metrics from product usage data and tools to enable informed product management decisions and elevate customer experiences.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities for product growth, new product features and introductions and user experience improvements.
- Build relationships across teams and establish a clear product vision for both internal and external consumption.
- Drive growth for the business by applying domain expertise to provide thought leadership and translate vision into action.
- Partner with product, functional and technical leaders to identify and plan capabilities necessary to meet both short- and long-term business needs.
- Work with Engineering teams to incorporate and maximize the use of AI to enhance product functionality.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and differentiation.
- Support and participate in L7’s quality management system (QMS) by complying with the Quality Policy and SOPs, and by meeting L7’s QMS objectives.
Requirements / What will make you a good fit:
- Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Master’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Biology, Computer Science, Statistics or related quantitative discipline and six (6) years’ experience in Product Management or Software Development in the life sciences or biotechnology field.
- SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Of the required experience, at least four (4) years of experience must include: bioinformatic data analysis experience using python, R and SQL and visualization tools including Tableau; Machine learning libraries including scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras; Airtable; Bitbucket; Confluence; JIRA; software product management in scientific fields.
- Location Requirement: Must currently live in or be willing to relocate yourself to the greater Austin area
- Travel Requirement: Must be willing to travel up to 25% domestically.
