Job Summary: The associate editor will focus on developing original written content, and assisting with digital and print tasks. Responsibilities in this position will include writing original news and feature content, including breaking news and technology-focused innovations, editing the work of others, daily management of the website, creating daily and weekly enewsletters, and promoting the brand through social media.


Essential Job Function:

  • Write, edit, source images related to innovation and technology in the public safety market space.
  • Organize, curate content, edit and schedule daily and weekly newsletters.
  • Create engaging social media posts and respond to inbound messages.
  • Leverage site metrics and analysis tools to improve engagement, increase engagement and audience reach
  • Write breaking news content, curate videos and seek images to accompany stories.
  • Prepare content from outside contributors, including editing, contracting and CMS entry.

We are excited to share that this position will be hourly, or non-exempt, and the base pay range for this position is $19.24 - 24.46, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed.


If you are hired for this position at Endeavor, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as hiring location, skillset, prior years’ experience, relevant education, certain degrees and certifications, training, and market considerations. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider any internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future & continued salary growth.
