The successful candidate:

Associate Account Follow-Up Representative An entry-level role within the Patient Accounts department, responsible for resolving patient account balances and assisting with reimbursement. Duties include handling inbound/outbound calls, working with self-pay and insurance accounts, and administering financial assistance programs. The representative serves as a key point of contact for patients, payers, and representatives, ensuring accurate documentation and reconciliation of account details.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred)
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a healthcare-related call center, registration, or collections
  • Knowledge of insurance policies, Explanation of Benefits, ICD coding, and contract terms
  • Strong analytical, communication, and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in data entry, MS Office, and online research tools
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to change, and maintain productivity
