Core Duties

As a Solution Architect (SA), you will work as part of Patra’s Solution & Service Architecture group, a team of problem solvers who support Patra’s sales teams. This role is specifically focused on supporting the growth and market penetration of Patra’s cutting-edge technology products by establishing the technical, domain, and operational support skills and capabilities necessary to support Patra’s sales personnel – while minimizing the resource support needed from the Product, Technology and Operations organizations. Additionally, you will be asked to provide your point of view on Patra’s development roadmap, leveraging your industry knowledge gained through interactions with Prospects and Clients.


Core Duties by Competency:

Knows the Business

  • Have deep expertise in the insurance ecosystem, with a strong understanding of the North American insurance market, its trends, and key players.
  • Consult with Prospects and Clients on their operations and priorities, and use this knowledge to recommend the right combination of Patra technology products and technology-based services.
  • Use your industry experience and customer knowledge to contextualize the need for and benefit of Patra’s technology products and services.
  • Present and discuss the technical requirements and implementation processes for Patra’s technology products.


Leads Others

  • Be a strategic problem-solver. Clearly articulate the business challenges Patra’s product suite addresses within the North American insurance market. Demonstrate how our solutions integrate into and elevate our clients' business processes, driving efficiency and innovation.
  • Approach sales opportunities with agility, actively seeking to understand the needs of Prospects and Clients. Recognize that identifying the right product fit may require deep exploration and anticipation of their business needs.
  • Engage directly with technology leaders at Patra’s clients and prospects to uncover their biggest challenges. Leverage your expertise to identify their needs and showcase how Patra’s technology provides innovative solutions that drive real business impact.


Accountable

  • Showcase the power of Patra’s technology. Deliver compelling, hands-on demos that highlight the value and impact of Patra’s products, helping clients see how our solutions can transform their business, whether they’re using these products directly or having Patra use these solutions on their behalf.
  • Working within the existing sales structure and using the appropriate sales tracking tools:
  • Provide support and detailed information about Patra’s products with a focus on new logo sales, and selling net new products and services to existing customers.
  • Help gather and/or produce documentation required/requested by Prospects or Clients that is necessary to resolve questions or remove barriers for sales closure.

  • Collaborate across internal teams:
  • Stay closely connected with Patra’s global technology and product groups to gain deep insights into our current and future product suite – enabling you to effectively communicate its value and vision to clients and stakeholders.
  • Gain a clear understanding of our evolving product suite – both present and future – to effectively communicate its value and impact to clients and stakeholders.
  • Bring innovation and new ideas to the Sales Process to help increase the velocity of acquiring new Clients and new Services to existing Clients.
  • Contribute to and support adoption activities as clients adopt new tech-centric solutions, working with customer success and other client-facing teams as appropriate.
  • Assist the Sales Team with RFP’s.
  • Assist the Marketing Team with webinars, social media content, and other special projects.
  • Be a key contributor to organizational growth by actively participating in Sales Meetings, be conversant in the status of Stage 4 and Stage 5 Opportunities, and understand the Pipeline and basic metrics associated with Sales Cycles.


Minimum Requirements

  • 10+ years of B2B professional experience in technology and/or professional services.
  • 5+ years of experience in Insurance or InsureTech.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Excited about working in a fast-paced environment where flexibility, adaptability, and nimbleness prevail.


Working Conditions

  • Work from home.
  • Minimum internet speed of 6 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload; Directly connected to modem; No satellite.
  • Subject to and expected to comply with all applicable Patra Corp policies and procedures.
