Description

The Head of Content will own and drive Zencargo’s brand voice and content strategy, ensuring consistent, compelling messaging across all channels and regions. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will play a critical role in strengthening our market position, scaling content and product marketing efforts, and crafting personalised, high-impact content across the customer journey.

Your work will shape how customers experience and trust Zencargo—from their first interaction, through the sales journey, and into long-term partnership.

This senior, cross-functional role combines creativity, strategic leadership, and a performance mindset to accelerate Zencargo’s growth, deepen customer connections, and shape how we lead in a rapidly evolving market.



Key Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve Zencargo’s brand identity—from voice and tone to visual alignment—ensuring consistency across all regions while tailoring messaging to local market needs.
  • Lead the global content strategy, mapping content to personas, verticals, and every stage of the customer journey.
  • Strengthen our product marketing foundations, owning messaging and go-to-market (GTM) strategy for new releases, including AI-driven innovations.
  • Oversee SEO and search content strategy, ensuring Zencargo ranks for priority topics and captures demand effectively.
  • Build and scale content operations, managing the content calendar, workflows, contributor output, and internal processes for efficiency and consistency.
  • Manage and optimise external partners, including writers, PR agencies, designers, and freelancers, setting clear expectations, SLAs, and KPIs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Procurement, and the Marketing team to ensure content directly supports customer needs, sales outcomes, and market growth.
  • Define and track content KPIs, using performance data to continuously improve messaging, formats, and channel effectiveness.
  • Own and manage the content budget, ensuring maximum ROI through smart resource allocation and strategic investment.
  • Deliver one flagship, market-defining content campaign per year—for example, an original Zencargo research report or bold thought leadership initiative.
  • Lead and execute content initiatives, personally contributing to writing, editing, and delivering high-quality content to maintain momentum, quality, and impact.

Work in close partnership with a Content Manager to deliver key initiatives across the website, case studies, video, and crisis communications—ensuring strategic alignment and high-quality execution.
