Job description

Hivex is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering with hands-on experience in various tools and technologies. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure and pipelines to ensure reliable data flows across the organization.

Requirements:

  • 4.5+ years of experience in a data engineering role
  • Proficiency in AWS RDS and Snowflake for database management
  • Hands-on experience with Fivetran, DBT, and Prefect
  • Experience with Looker
  • Familiarity with Datadog for monitoring and performance optimization
  • English level - B2
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using tools such as Fivetran, DBT, and Prefect.
  • Manage and administer databases on AWS RDS and Snowflake to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.
  • Design and implement data models and ETL processes to support business intelligence and analytics.
  • Work with Looker to create and maintain insightful reports and dashboards.
  • Monitor and optimize data workflows and performance using Datadog.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and provide ongoing support to data users across the organization.
