What Sr. Consultant, Innovation Technologies contributes to Cardinal Health

Commercial Technologies + OptiFreight is looking for a highly driven Sr. Consultant, Innovation Technologies who is excited to help imagine, define and build the future of healthcare. 

Sr. Consultant, Innovation Technologies will collaborate with the IT Implementation and Customer Technical Support Manager in establishing, educating, maintaining and enhancing customer business experience through effective IT implementation and/or support of Cardinal Health's OptiFreight pharmacy products and services.  It will also be a point of escalation for customer onboarding and initial technical support to help resolve application issues or escalate to the software engineering team. Sr. Consultant, Innovation Technologies is responsible for working with customers to populate customer PHI/HIPAA risk assessments.

Commercial Technologies manages the enterprise's portfolio of commercial technologies to maximize the business value of the technologies and enhance the customer experience. This function creates strategies for the portfolio and innovative solutions based on relationships with business leaders, develops back-end solutions and capabilities, and improves the front-end experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology preferred, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • 8-12 years of experience preferred

What is expected of you and others at this level

  • Strong acumen in application and infrastructure security, experience with PHI/HIPAA controls preferred. 
  • Documentation and technical writing.
  • Continuous monitoring and triage of incident queues.
  • Define standard operating procedures for customer onboarding and engagement.
  • Prioritize work based on urgency and criticality.
  • Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals.
  • Applies advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects.
  • Recommend new practices, processes, metrics, or models which may set precedent.
  • Acts as a mentor to less experienced colleagues.
  • Self-starter

Responsibilities

  • Maintain compliance and security records.
  • Access Control: implement and manage application access controls.
  • Incident Response: working cross-functionally with IT and business partners to develop and execute incident response plans.
  • Communication: Explain technical concepts clearly during customer calls with the business and sales teams.
  • Training and Support: Develop training materials and provide customer training on best practices.
  • Onboarding and problem resolution.
  • Seek knowledge from team members, stakeholders, users, and customers to better manage the onboarding experience to ensure successful and frictionless customer onboarding
  • Responsible for establishing, maintaining and enhancing customer experience through effective implementation and/or support of Cardinal Health's products and services.

Anticipated salary range: $ 121,600.00 - $ 173,700.00
