THUNDER | JOB DESCRIPTION

Sales Enablement Lead - CONTRACT / Temp-to-Perm

Location: Remote, United States (WFH)

Job Summary:

Thunder is a fast-growing Salesforce consulting partner dedicated to transforming the way our clients and internal teams operate. We value transparency, empathy, and operational excellence, and we’re building a business where operational scale and insight fuel our next stage of growth.

As Sales Enablement Lead, you’ll be the go-to resource for ensuring Thunder’s sales team is equipped, trained, and supported to sell effectively. You’ll bridge strategy and execution, working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to optimize tools, processes, and behaviors that lead to revenue growth. This role calls for someone who can deliver practical enablement and provide impactful coaching to a range of sales personalities, including those who aren’t always seeking it out.

We’re looking for someone who understands B2B sales cycles, Salesforce reporting, pipeline, and forecasting — and knows how to use that insight to support a high-performing team.

Role + Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute enablement programs that improve sales productivity, pipeline quality, and forecasting accuracy
  • Provide thoughtful, hands-on coaching to sales reps to improve deal progression, messaging, and CRM usage
  • Partner with leadership to identify skill gaps, process friction, and training needs across the sales team
  • Own onboarding and continuous training for all sales team members
  • Create and manage documentation, playbooks, and training resources tailored to our offerings and sales motion
  • Take ownership of Territory mapping and management with our Sales team
  • Support an Industry-focused sales enablement strategy
  • Work within Salesforce to build reports, dashboards, and workflows that improve visibility and drive accountability
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Operations to align messaging, content, and performance metrics
  • Drive adoption of Salesforce tools and sales processes to improve forecast accuracy and deal progression

Qualifications:

  • 8-10+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales operations, or B2B sales
  • Deep familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem — bonus if you’ve worked at or with a Salesforce consulting partner
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles and pipeline management
  • Experience with Salesforce reporting, forecasting, and CRM hygiene
  • Proven ability to coach and influence salespeople with varying styles and experience levels
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field

**Please note: This role is currently structured as a contract opportunity and not a full-time employee position. As such, it does not include Thunder’s full-time benefits (such as health coverage, PTO, or retirement plans). You’ll be engaged as an independent contractor and responsible for managing your own taxes, insurance, and availability. We’re excited about the potential to grow this into a permanent role and expect to evaluate that possibility after approximately 90 days. In the meantime, we ask that any other commitments don’t impact your ability to fully support this position. We encourage you to bring any questions about the contractor terms to your Talent Screen — and we're always happy to explore longer-term opportunities for great team members!

U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.

Research shows that women and people from underrepresented groups often apply to jobs only if they meet 100% of the qualifications. We recognize that it is highly unlikely that someone meets 100% of the qualifications for a role. If most of this job description describes you, then we encourage you to please apply for this role. Thunder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity employer, and is deeply committed to building and supporting our diverse team through inclusive, equitable hiring practices.
