The Role:

As a Jr. Data Scientist (Contract), you will work closely with our product and data team to provide insights that drive decision-making and strategy. You will dive deep into data, using advanced programming techniques to collect, process, and analyze information from a variety of sources, including customer feedback, online behavior, market trends, and operational efficiency metrics.

Scope of Work Duties:

Collect, process, and clean data from various sources, including customer surveys, market research, and internal processes.
Create visualizations/reports in Tableau and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Manage extract refreshes and automated report distribution in Tableau.
Perform data validation and document discrepancies for the engineering team.
Support the development of AI/ML models for lead scoring, pricing strategies, and process improvement.
Set up and manage ETL jobs in Databricks and Postgres.
Optimize database structures and relationships to improve data retrieval and storage efficiency.

What you Bring to the Table:

Bachelor’s degree program in a quantitative discipline
2-3 years of experience or academic course work using Python, SQL, R, or other programming languages for data analysis
Familiar with data visualization and dashboarding tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
Exposure to statistics and/or AI/ML models
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized self-starter
Works well in a collaborative, team environment
Meticulous attention to detail and ability to maintain structure to set processes
Critical thinking and problem solving
