Position Summary:
The Director, Enterprise Business Planning, is responsible for developing and executing strategies and key initiatives to support the Enterprise Sales organization.
Drives the development, execution, and ongoing evaluation of the company's business strategy. Works cross-functionally with senior leadership, finance, commercial enablement, operations and other departments to ensure alignment between business goals, resources, and execution plans. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to lead teams without direct authority to achieve measurable outcomes
Core Responsibilities:
- Drives operational reviews and leads business analysis including revenue, customer, and market analysis
- Supports the organization on medium/long-term planning including business potential, resourcing, annual planning and organizational design
- Improves operational excellence through identification and execution of initiatives that create efficiency, remove obstacles, or create improved processes and approaches to the business
- Builds partnerships with leaders and key cross-functional stakeholders
- Strategic Planning: Leads business planning process, including the creation of short-term and long-term business strategies, objectives, and KPIs
- Works closely with various departments, including finance, marketing, commercial enablement, and sales, to align business plans with overall organizational goals
- Ensures that the necessary resources (financial, human, and technological) are allocated effectively to support the business plan
- Develops, manages, and monitors the business resource budget, ensuring alignment with the strategic objectives and providing forecasts for financial performance
- Monitors progress toward business objectives, ensuring timely adjustments to plans when necessary, and reporting on key performance metrics to senior leadership
- Facilitates and supports the implementation of change initiatives to achieve business objectives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions
- Facilitates and communicates business plans, performance reports, and strategy recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Additional projects and initiatives assigned by SVP Enterprise Sales
Experience, Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Master’s Degree preferred
- 10+ years’ experience with 5+ years’ management experience
- Exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in developing and executing operational performance reviews
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with executives, partners, and stakeholders
- Familiar with oncology, hematology and diagnostics business
- Proven ability to work well with and influence peers, sales teams and management
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage analytics to drive business decisions
- Proven oral, written, telephone and presentation skills
- Knowledge of clinical and/or laboratory market environment and products
- Proficient with MS Office programs
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a sales leader in diagnostics and/or oncology
- Commercial enablement role experience such as analytics, training, commercial operations
Travel: 30% including overnight travel
