Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PHT

Job Location: Clark Outsourcing - Building 35 Philexcel Business Park, Clark Pampanga

Quick Rundown:

We are seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize data pipelines, APIs, and analytics infrastructure using AWS, Snowflake, Python, and CI/CD. You will ensure scalable, secure solutions and drive best practices for Power BI reporting, supporting data-driven decisions.

What You'll Do:

• Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines on AWS (S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda, SQS, SNS, EFS)

• Develop and manage ETL/ELT processes using Python and SQL (strong SQL skills required)

• Implement and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and Docker

• Integrate and optimise data models within Snowflake

• Own the development and maintenance of Power BI reports to support business decision-making

• Automate data workflows and monitor pipelines using Grafana and CI/CD tools

• Ensure data security through encryption, masking, GDPR compliance, and access control

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders (CEO, CTO, Managers, Leaders) to gather and articulate requirements effectively

• Work closely with analytics teams and other departments to support reporting needs

• Maintain version control using Git and contribute to peer reviews

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline

• Minimum 3 years experience in data engineering or data science

• Solid working knowledge of SQL and Snowflake

• Hands-on experience with AWS and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash)

• Strong experience in developing and maintaining data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows

• Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder management at all levels (CEO,CTO, Managers, Leaders)

• Strong understanding of data security principles including encryption, masking, GDPR, and access control

• Experience with Firetran, AWS Glue or other ETL tools

• Exposure to CloudFormation

• Experience in data warehousing or analytics in the finance or fintech sector
