Your Responsibilities
As a Digital Business Development Mgr. for JD Intelligent Sols located in Urbandale, IA, you will:
- Support go-to-market strategy (target accounts, customer segments, etc.), value propositions, and implementation plans for transitioning and supporting paid API offerings to connected software companies (CSCs).
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, marketing, customer support, regional teams, and other leaders to execute the tactics necessary to grow sales and support for PRO Sustainability, PRO Enterprise and the Premium API platform.
- Drive B2B sales cycle activities including creating sales pitches, SOW, MOU, and other contracting collateral.
- Help negotiate industry partnerships with grain merchandisers, input providers, sustainability and other agribusiness companies to accelerate growth of Deere’s business, inclusive of opportunities with John Deere’s premium digital solutions that drive revenue or deliver other strategic value in support of LEAP ambitions.
- Develop a personal network throughout the Agribusiness industry and represent the Digital Business organization at business sector events.
- Build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with leadership of current and prospective strategic accounts to build pipeline for PRO Enterprise & PRO Sustainability
- Identify appropriate channel and market segments for potential accounts within the sustainability, grain merchandiser and input provider business sectors.
- Obtain market intelligence and enhance the visibility and reputation of the Digital Business organization, its products, and its services.

What Makes You Stand Out
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to combine business, strategy, finance, and legal concepts to lead complex, multi-faceted deals globally.
- Experience with Sustainability markets, Regenerative Ag practices, grain merchandisers, food/CPG companies, and input providers.
- Domain experience with software and solutions relevant to John Deere customers, equipment, technology, and outcomes created in agriculture.
Education
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Undergraduate degree in engineering, business, or similar discipline.
- MBA or similar advanced degree.
