Senior ISE Engineer

Location: US (remote)

Job Description: 

This expansion role is for a Senior ISE Engineer in the US to perform remote and project-based consulting with various customers to implement and support Cisco ISE-based networks. Your first project is a full-time position with one of our customers maintaining and managing l large enterprise deployment of ISE instances. Travel for this role is minimal with maybe less than 10% travel requirement.  

In this role, you will:  

• Manage, maintain multiple ISE instances in the enterprise.
• Help with Security Ops team to configure, maintain security logs and perform forensics
• Help with troubleshooting dot1x, device administration issues within the environment
• Provide knowledge transfer and informal training to clients

What you need to succeed: 

• Experience with deploying and maintaining enterprise ISE instances for more than 6 years
• Expert level knowledge of 802.1x, RADIUS, EAP-TLS and related technologies for ISE
• In depth understanding of wired and wireless 802.1x network access control
• In depth understanding of EAP-TLS authentication and Certificate based authentication issues
• Deep understanding of ISE architecture, optimization of the platform and best practices
• Understanding of logging configurations and forensic investigation based on security events
• Basic understanding of networking
• Certifications: CCNA (or higher), Identity Services Engine (Cisco ISE)

Desirable:  

• Strongly prefer experience with the implementation of Cisco-based wireless network infrastructure
