Accounting Operations Analyst (Part-time, Remote)

GTreasury is seeking a Part-Time Accounting Operations Analyst to join our managed services team.  This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting who has a keen interest in process improvements to drive standardization and improve efficiency.

As a Part-Time Accounting Operations Analyst, you will play a key role in organizing and executing our managed services client deliverables.  Our managed services team provides US GAAP and/or IFRS compliant hedge accounting documentation, journal entries and disclosure support for our clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with our various teams, enhance your project management skills, and contribute to the success of our organization. 

What You’ll Do:

• Gain an understanding of current processes and develop and implement enhanced processes to drive efficiency in our delivery of professional services. 
• Oversee delivery of managed services to our clients and perform required tasks in compliance with our documented internal controls.
• Assist with managed services customer inquiries.
• Be an integral part of client on-boarding and off-boarding and transitions from implementation to managed services. 

Who You Are:

• A degreed Accounting or Finance professional with at least 4 years of experience in corporate accounting or treasury
• Analytical mindset with proven problem-solving and process improvement skills
• Excellent communicator with experience in managing stakeholders and presenting to clients or internal teams
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, client-focused environment with a strong attention to detail

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• CPA, CFA or CTP a plus
• Knowledge of backing and treasury systems a plus
• Knowledge of ASC 815 or 830 a plus

• Compensation Details: The expected hourly rate for this role is $40/hr. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance, qualifications, experience, and location.
