Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Full-Cycle Recruitment: Execute full-cycle recruiting for exempt, salaried non-exempt, and non-exempt/hourly roles across the US, partnering with Hiring Managers and Field HR colleagues to define and execute a flawless requisition process
Candidate Experience: Represent Materion to the internal and external talent pools, assuring superior candidate experience.
Talent Advisor: Serve as a Talent Advisor to the business, upholding high-quality standards, fair assessment, and selection processes
Sourcing Strategies: Cultivate candidate pools by deploying innovative sourcing strategies to identify and attract exceptional talent across a wide range of roles. Continuously build networks to identify and qualify high-quality, passive candidates. Foster and contribute to building Materion’s early career and diversity talent pipelines and programs
Coaching and Mentoring: Be a trusted mentor and coach to Managers. Coach, counsel, and help continuously develop the ability of Materion’s managers to assess and select top-quality talent.
Continuous Improvement: Foster continuous improvement in TA operations, including analyzing and reporting on recruiting analytics for key client groups
Project Involvement: Assist in developing new programs that build recruiting capability, which may include leading projects/project work streams or serving as a team member of a project team. Contribute to Materion HR projects and initiatives, as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in HR or business-related discipline; advanced degree a plus
Minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience as an in-house Recruiter in a manufacturing company, supporting Operations and Engineering functions. Proven experience recruiting for a wide range of roles and sourcing passive candidates for niche roles
Demonstrated experience in effectively using applicant tracking systems to streamline the recruitment process, manage candidate pipelines, and enhance overall hiring efficiency. Workday experience is a plus
Comprehensive experience utilizing a variety of sourcing tools, including LinkedIn, Indeed, and other innovative platforms, to identify and engage top talent across diverse industries
Commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the hiring process, with experience implementing strategies to attract a diverse candidate pools
Strong organizational and time management skills; prioritizes and quickly flexes as needed. Enjoys a fast-paced environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong team player who enjoys interaction with people of all levels in an organization
Ability to analyze and interpret workforce trends and data, identify implications, recommend solutions, and align stakeholders on the best course of action
Technical proficiency, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with the aptitude to quickly learn new applications
Travel is limited, and primarily to U.S. locations
