As our new Business Development Manager, People – Purchasing, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our Purchasing team’s talent strategy across Europe. You’ll partner closely with both the People and Purchasing teams to ensure we attract, hire, and retain top talent to support our ambitious growth plans.

You will report directly to Josefine Tonn, Director People Talent Acquisition Europe.

Job Description
  • Act as a strategic partner to the Purchasing and Talent Acquisition teams across Europe, aligning hiring strategies with business growth objectives.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with department heads to track hiring progress and ensure headcount goals are met.

  • Develop and implement scalable recruitment strategies, leveraging diverse talent sources—including international markets and relocation agencies—while analyzing KPIs to boost efficiency, reduce time-to-hire, and optimize cost-per-hire.

  • Lead regular market reviews with stakeholders, proactively identifying challenges and driving actionable solutions.

  • Enhance sourcing strategies and processes to support global growth, operational scalability, and continuous process improvement within the People function.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in business development, project management, or a similar role—ideally within fast-paced, scale-up environments—supported by a degree in business, management, or a related field.

  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and drive results.

  • Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective influence and engagement with senior stakeholders.

  • Solution-oriented and decisive, thriving in dynamic, fast-changing environments with a growth-hacking mindset and strong business acumen to identify and implement innovative solutions.

  • Fluency in English required; German language skills are a strong plus.
