Your Role

As our Business Development Manager, you'll help drive the growth of Montu’s online business in the evolving medical cannabis market. From refining our digital offering and analysing market trends to supporting operational improvements and collaborating with product and tech teams - you’ll play a key role in building a scalable and impactful business model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market & Business Growth

Support the development of Montu’s online business strategy in the German medical cannabis market, identifying opportunities to expand our reach and improve our product offering.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with business, operations, and tech teams to ensure our digital experience aligns with customer needs and market demand.

  • Product & Customer Insights

Help analyse customer behaviour, product performance, and competitor activity to inform business decisions and improve service delivery.

  • Project & Process Support

Assist in coordinating new initiatives and improvements across our platform, pharmacy partners, and internal tools.

  • Strategic Partnerships

Support initiatives aimed at strengthening B2B and B2C offerings, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners.

  • Execution & Ownership

Take ownership of day-to-day tasks and deliverables, bringing structure and focus to our high-growth environment.

What You Bring

  • 1–2 years of experience in business development, strategy, operations, or a similar role - ideally in health-tech, pharma, or e-commerce.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Interest or experience in pharmaceutical wholesale or medical cannabis is highly appreciated, but not required.
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
  • A hands-on, start-up mentality - you take initiative, thrive on collaboration, and enjoy building from the ground up.
