As a Solution Consultant you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing/configuring, testing and delivery of our Tier 1 WMS solutions for our customers, ensuring that they maximise operational efficiency and achieve their business goals.
This role requires strong technical expertise in WMS platforms, software development, system integration and database management. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mix of technical/functional expertise and solution development skills to help our customers optimise their warehouse and supply chain operations.
What a day in life of looks like:
Translate customer business requirements into technical design documents using Microsoft Visio, Word, Project, and Excel.
Support the design, configuration, development, and implementation of the WMS solution to meet customer specifications and optimise warehouse operations.
Develop and maintain business logic, workflows, and automation for inventory management, order fulfilment, and labour planning.
Design and maintain integrations between WMS and external systems (e.g. ERP, TMS, LMS, automation systems), including development of RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and message queues.
Write clean, scalable code following best practices; document technical solutions, architecture, and standards for internal knowledge sharing.
Assist with issue resolution, functional reviews, customer training, and other project activities as required.
What you bring to the team:
Minimum 1 year’s experience in the supply chain or logistics industry with exposure to WMS platforms (e.g. Warehouse Advantage, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, SAP-WM/eWM, Oracle-WM).
Programming/configuration experience with databases (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle) and use of stored procedures.
Strong problem-solving skills, with excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication abilities.
Experience with barcode scanning and RF hardware (e.g. Honeywell, Zebra), labelling tools (e.g. Bartender), and reporting solutions (e.g. Cognos, SSRS).
Ability to self-manage, prioritise tasks, and travel domestically/internationally as required; full driving licence preferred.
Degree in a relevant field (BA/BS/BEng) or equivalent professional experience desirable.
