JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of both frontend and backend technologies, with a proven ability to deliver scalable, efficient, and secure software solutions. Experience in the FinTech sector is advantageous, though not essential.

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using modern frontend and backend frameworks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
Implement security and data protection best practices.
Optimise applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and team practices.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure, React, or Node.js) are advantageous.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Minimum 4 years' experience in a Full Stack Developer role or similar.
Proficient in frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Strong backend experience with Node.js, Python, Java, or similar languages.
Experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (e.g. Docker, CI/CD pipelines, cloud services).
Version control using Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS:

Previous experience in a FinTech environment or familiarity with financial products.
Knowledge of Web3, blockchain integrations, or digital payment systems.
Experience with microservices architecture.
