Requirements:

5+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails with a strong understanding of its internals.
Proficiency in SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL solutions (Redis, DynamoDB).
Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular is a plus.
Understanding of scalable architectures, microservices, and event-driven systems.
Strong experience with TDD/BDD and writing clean, maintainable code.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Experience working in agile environments with CI/CD, DevOps culture, and automation.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for learning.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a remote, distributed team.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails applications, including APIs, background jobs, and front-end integrations.
Manage SQL and NoSQL databases, optimizing queries for scalability and performance.
Utilize AWS services and Serverless architectures when needed.
Implement TDD/BDD using tools like RSpec, Minitest, and Capybara.
Participate in agile teams with sprint planning, code reviews, and pair programming.
Improve system architecture, contributing to microservices development and redesign projects.
Ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions following SOLID principles and best practices.
Support DevOps automation and CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or Jenkins.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Remuneration:

Compensation in US dollars as contractor.
