To take responsibility for achieving clearly defined sales and profitability growth targets by leading, coaching, and developing a high performance sales team of Key Account & Account Managers. Managing all relevant sales channels including major framewroks ie NHSCC, NSS etc. Develop regional strategy to achieve short & long term goals & targets.  The role has a high strategic component to it and includes full P&L accountability for the assigned countries, combining direct team management with the distributor management. The ability to drive and maintain Sales force Exellence programmes.

 

Job Position Accountabilities/Expectations

•            Meet and/or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts with direct team and distributor partners  

•            Establish individual objectives with each team member and for each National Account which ensure that the overall Country objectives are met.

•            Provide coaching and development activities to help team members enhance existing skills.

•            Provide performance management, assessments, potential & identify training & development opportunities to progress individuals.

•            Manage all promotional, sample & general expenses within agreed budgets & coordinate at local levels.

•            Is accountable for Field Sales development and the recruitment & selection of Field Sales personnel.

•            Hold regular Team meetings & Field accompaniments to ensure that communication is managed effectively and sales activities are coordinated.

•            Keep North, West Central Europe HQ & marketing management informed of all relevant market information.

•            Ensure sales excellence and that field based team maintain detailed records on customers, opportunities, risks, and activities in their territories. Ensure high standard of CRM compliance

•            Manage effectively all local and regional trade marketing activities within budgets.

•            Regular reporting & presenting to Regional Diector on business and team progression.

•            Quality: Supports the organization to ensure an adequate and effective quality management system, supports the quality policy and sustains a quality culture.

•            Provide Accurrate and timely product forecasts

•            Engage with Functional leads and stakeholders to ensure best interest of your business are represented

•            Align with HOM to ensure regular and productive KOL engagement and development

•            Achieve and maintain the current and relevant hospital access accreditation.

•            Ensure your team and self, operate to the highest compliance standards

Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skill Required

Required Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree - MBA preferred. Minimum of 5 years industry experience with a minimum of 2 years Regional Sales management & 5 years sales experience. Successful functioning in this position requires excellent leadership, commercial, people & performance management skills & knowledge of the local health care markets. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
